NAVA International is a registered California nonprofit. Our 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status is currently pending, so donations are not yet tax-deductible.

Admission & Eligibility Policy

Please review before applying.

1. Policy Statement +
NAVA International maintains a structured, merit-based, and cohort-limited admission process to ensure program quality, participant accountability, and institutional integrity. This policy defines the eligibility requirements, selection criteria, and participation obligations for all applicants.
2. Eligibility Requirements +
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
  • Identify as an Afghan woman or girl
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have access to a smartphone, tablet, or computer
  • Have stable internet connection
  • Demonstrate basic literacy
  • Agree to attendance and conduct requirements
Failure to meet these requirements may result in automatic disqualification.
3. Admission Criteria +
Admission is competitive and cohort-based. Meeting eligibility does not guarantee acceptance.

NAVA International reserves full discretion in final admission decisions.

4. Priority Consideration +
Priority consideration may be given to applicants who:
  • Reside in Afghanistan
  • Are refugees or displaced individuals
  • Have limited access to formal education
  • Demonstrate financial hardship
  • Exhibit leadership potential and long-term commitment to educational advancement
Priority placement is not guaranteed but strengthens selection chances.
5. Participation Obligations +
Admitted participants are required to:
  • Attend a minimum of 80% of scheduled sessions
  • Complete assigned coursework and evaluations
  • Maintain professional and respectful conduct
  • Comply with program communication guidelines
Failure to meet participation standards may result in suspension or removal without certification.
6. Certification Requirements +
Certificates of completion are issued only to participants who:
  • Meet attendance thresholds
  • Complete required coursework
  • Satisfy program performance standards
Certification is issued only after full program completion.
7. Institutional Authority +
NAVA International reserves the right to:
  • Modify program structure
  • Update admission standards
  • Adjust cohort size
  • Enforce removal policies
  • Revise this policy as necessary to protect program integrity
